Hikari ran around on the beach. It was a nice summer day. She had a nice little dainty two peice bathing suite, with pink flower patterns and strings coming out the sides.
The cool water flowing on her body and the warm sun baking her body, made the day just perfect.
Or so she thought.
The weather soon turned from good, to horrible. She didn't notice it but, dark black clouds soon crepted up on her.
At first the wind started blowing, hard. But she didn't think anything of it. Wind was wind...right?
Then she heard the distant rumble of thunder, so she got out and gathered her things, but before she could even start the journy home the wind picked up more and the rain started pouring. She ran under the awning under the school. She watched the rain pour down, and listened to the thunder rumble. She looked toward Mayor Hamilitons house, she thought she saw someone, but a flash of lightning distracted her.
She heard the unlocking of a door and saw Gill. He ushered her inside out from the rain.
"Thanks." She mummbled brushing herself off.
"What were you doing out in the rain like that?" Gill gave her an annoyed look. "Don't you watch the weather channel?" Hikari, embarrased, shook her head no. "Here hand me your towel." She started to unwrap it from her body. "Why do you have a towel anywa-" His question was answered as he saw Hikari in the two peice bathing suite, and turned a dark red.
"Oh um, ill go get you something to wear.." And ran off to his room. Hikari sat at the table in the middle of the room.
'Wheres Mayor Hamilton' she thought. 'Probably stuck at the Town Hall.' Gill intrupeted her thoughts and came in and handed her, what looked like one of his old shirts.
"Here put this on." He said his face still red, and not excatly looking at her. Hikari didn't get it, but didn't bother to ask. She took the shirt and put it on over her cold body. She sighed happily and snuggled up inside of the warm wool.
Gill on the other hand, went and looked out the window.
"Looks like the Typhoon is getting worse." He said with a sigh. He looked at Hikari. "Looks like your going to have to stay here, until it calms down." Hikari nodded, and joined him looking out the window. They stared out at the storm in silence for a while. Before Hikari knew it, it was time for supper. Gill had noticed this too.
"I'll cook us something, as seeing we can't order out." He gave a little chuckle. Hikari on the other hand, looked around the house, letting curiousity get the best of her. Gill didn't seem to notice her peeking around the house. She wasn't getting into anything to deep until she found, a door. The door to Gill's room.
