This results even more important considering the increasing wood fuel price observed on site, which may affect negatively the advantages related to the use of the improved wood stoves alone. The stove is currently under dissemination in other African realities: this will give further feedback on the adaptability of the proposed technology to other contexts. The economic model proposed, using as inputs data collected on site or through the application of a rigorous testing methodology, combines technical and economic information in order to assess the convenience threshold

It can be usefully used to investigate possible evolution of the cooking fuel access situation in the local context or applied to other realities, comparing also different technology options for the energy recovery of waste biomass.
