Without a notification, the sub-contract agreement will expire automatically on 30/11/14.
The Contractor is the employer of the outsource workers, and thus has to comply with the law in giving his workers advance notice, and severance payment if the workers do not receive new employment.
In the case of the Contractor’s failure to pay, the company has to take the responsibility first then collect the reimbursement from the Contractor (Section 12 LPA 2541).
It is advisable to notify the Contractor ASAP of our decision not to renew the contract. Remind the Contractor of the legal liability too.
