5 Engineering or Design Change
Pioneer may request Supplier in writing that Supplier incorporates engineering or design change into the Product. Such request will include a description of the proposed change sufficient to permit Supplier to comply. Supplier shall then send Pioneer the impact report stating period Supplier require for additional training of its staff for Manufacture according to such design or engineering change, additional Consigned Equipment or Consigned Materials (if any), cost impact to the selling price due to such design or engineering change. Supplier shall not incorporate the engineering or design change into the Manufacture of the Product unless Pioneer provides written acceptance of the proposed required training time, and the impacts and the authorization for Supplier to implement the engineering or design change.
Upon Pioneer’s acceptance of Supplier’s impact report, Pioneer agrees to install and set up the additional Consigned Equipment (if any).
