Lemuel Gulliver,a surgeon from English, left his family for his first voyage to the sea. During his journey, there was a powerful storm that caused a shipwreck. All the passengers on the ship, including Gulliver, tried their best to keep themselves alive, but many people failed to do so. Fortunately, however, Gulliver managed to swim ashore. Exhausted from the long swim, he immediately fell into a long sleep as he reached the shore. He had no idea how long he lay there, but when he awoke, he realized it was impossible for him to move. Lying still and glancing around,he found that his arms, legs, and hair were tied to the ground by slender ropes.
