In collaboration with Shigeru Ban and Gringo Cardia, the permanent exhibition installed at the International Red Cross & Red Crescent Museum was organized with the themes Defending Human Dignity, Refusing Fatality, and Restoring the Family Link. The materiality of the built interventions are intended to evoke an emotional awareness of the loss and tragedy that occur either through man-made or natural events. Kéré Architecture's contribution to the exhibit aims to recognize the importance of reconstructing human connections when they are unexpectedly broken or severed.
