Let me tell you a bit more about me. Originally I am from the north of Germany which is where my parents still live. As I stated in my profile I am divorced. I have been living alone now for some years now. I was married to a Taiwanese woman. In the end it didn't work, since after some time we couldn't get together anymore. At first the marriage was quite normal and happy. Then we couldn't find a solution to our problems anymore after many tries. Basically she did not like to live in Germany and preferred to have a career. Something she could not have here in Germany. So she left to Taiwan. Now she lives in Taiwan, together with our two daughters. My ex-wife is now married again and the children are adopted to the new father. I don't have contact anymore.

I'm working in the development of medication, primarily monoclonal antibodies which are use in therapy of different kinds of diseases, like different types of cancer, asthma, autoimmune diseases... For that we use mammalian cell clones which are genetically modified, so that they produce the desired protein in its functional form. We do have to develop procedures for the production of those antibodies for the clinical supply. What we do is not on the market yet, but still in trial phases in clinical phases one, two and three.

I'm living alone in my own house. Of course there 's always a lot to do with household work, cleaning, cooking... Also renovation work has to be done regularly as well as garden work. That keeps me also busy in my spare time.
I normally don't go to bars, pubs or discotheques when I'm alone. I don't drink any alcohol and I also don't smoke. For many people I might be quite boring as I'm a bit different. But I don't mind. It was always important for me to be individual and not always adapt to what everyone else likes.

When I traveled I often went to places where I could experience the country how it really is, where I could feel the culture, the people and also where I could get to know the different kind of nature. That made me more tolerant person. Of course the food interested me very much and during the years I learned how to cook different types of food.

I like to spend my spare time in nature. I enjoy to go into the forests or mountains, enjoy the scenery at some lakes, the peaceful atmosphere in the moors, the blooming meadows.... I do like to go hiking and mountain climbing in the mountains around here. I love to go biking as well. When I am outdoors I like to study the wildflowers and I also like to do birdwatching. Another hobby of me, associated with nature, is photography. Often I have my camera with me when I'm “exploring”.

For satisfying my interest for culture, night life, theater, movies… I just go to Munich frequently which is a nice city in my opinion. I like to cook and I prefer the Asian way of cooking to the German way. I prefer to cook with many vegetables and the different spices. I could spend hours in the kitchen and ”experiment” with new dishes. Only when it comes to baking I prefer the German way of baking. I like to bake as well – everything from bread to cakes and cookies.

I am looking for a relationship based on trust, honesty, respect, commitment and of course true love. What I wish for from my partner is commitment and true love. I want to be loved for what I am and not for what I have. I am a romantic man and I do like to caress, kiss, cuddle... Best of course is a combination of everything.
