There are lots of positives about this hotel and you can find them a lot worse. Staff are friendly and try to help. Great pool - one of the best we have found at hotels on 6th floor. It is big enough with great views. Our Panoramic room was spacious with lovely views of cliff and sea. Breakfast had a reasonable mix for the different diets they need to cater for. We had a problem with very noisy neighbours one night and BB at reception was very attentive to our concerns and the next night was very quiet. The location is good - about five minutes walk from the beach with all the restaurants and other services nearby. Hotel has a small gym and sauna with spa facilities.
Areas for improvement: Management need to do more training and monitoring of their staff for improved service. Try not to put male staff with limited language skills on reception. No loo paper one day. Not enough tea another day. These are simple areas that the Manager needs to look at and needs to pay more attention to these details. Ensure there are better signs to allow guest to make their way to the lobby. It takes 3 different lifts to get out, with some walking in between and when you are new to the hotel, it is easy to get lost. I'm glad to hear from other reviews we were not the only ones who also found it a bit of a maze. Building works can be noisy at times so builders could be asked to start work at a more 'holiday friendly' time in the morning. Wifi is not the most stable and you have to keep signing in. Bit pricey.
