The stock standard
solution containing 1mgml−1 phytic acid was prepared in
ultra pure deionised water and the standard solutions used were
prepared by dilution of the stock to appropriate concentration.
Samples were obtained from local wheat factories (for wheat
and wheat products) and from supermarket (for avocado and
carrot). A special effort paid in choosing the wheat samples that
has same origin. The wheat samples were milled to manufacture
flour and then baked to make bread
