As it is evident from various facts which are present in the case study, Nestle went through
majority of first order change. These first-order changes started from the 1900’s when Nestle
started worked towards changing their own approach for global expansion which was initiated
by working on acquiring subsidies in different countries. Nestle was earlier operating only with
sales agents in countries other than their home country so that they can buy their products out
of Switzerland. Then, they worked on changing their international strategy so that they can
maintain achieving the company’s goals as well as the organizational mission. This was
continued with Alcon as well as other related acquisitions done by Nestle over the years.
