A certificate holder has the right to publicise the
fact that the
management system which it utilises has been certif
ied, and can
apply the relevant marks to stationery and promotio
nal material
relating to the scope of certification as detailed
on the certificate.
The company may not apply the marks to their produc
ts or
packaging. The regulations shown on the AJA Registr
ars’ Use of
Accreditation and Certification Marks must be adher
ed to
In every case the company shall ensure that no conf
usion arises
between certified and non-certified products/proces
ses and
activities in its publications and advertising. The
company shall not
make any claim that could mislead purchasers to bel
ieve that a
product/process or activity is covered by certifica
tion when, in
fact, it is not.
In addition, the certificate issued does not imply
that the governing
board or relevant government ministers of the count
ry of
accreditation has approved the related product, pro
cesses or
services. The company shall ensure that this is not
implied in any
advertising.
