This paper investigates on green transportation in India, where usage of vehicles is increasing day-today.
Increase in vehicles will lead to fuel scarcity in the mere future. These lead researchers to think
about alternate fuel that can be utilized for the vehicles. This paper talks about the project which is
aimed at developing and marketing a product with conventional standard that help in solving this issue.
The basic function of the fuel system is to store and supply fuel to the cylindrical chamber where the
fuel gets mixed with air, vaporized and gets burned to produce energy. All the fuels are not completely
burnt to produce energy. Statistics shows that around 23% to 27% of fuels are not burnt in the fuel
system. This leads to the incomplete combustion of fuels. Researchers came out the solution for
complete combustion of fuels by the process named HYDROLYSIS. Hydrolysis is splitting of hydrogendi-oxide
into hydrogen and oxygen gases. If this released hydrogen gas is injected into the engine, it
will help in burning the fuels completely. But “how this hydrolysis helps in saving the fuel?” when
asked, the answer is very simple that the hydrolysis helps in complete combustion of fuels, which not
only saves the fuel but also helps out atmosphere by reducing emissions by means of green
transportation. Considering all these factors, “What are the advantages of implementing this
project?”, answers, help out to atmosphere by controlling emission, saves money by complete
combustion of fuels, increases mileage to the vehicle and helps in maintaining the vehicle life for a long
run.
Market survey on existence of systems that does hydrolysis for saving fuel consumption resulted in
many products. On conducting various experiments on the existing systems, the manufacturers claims
that their system showed various percentage of mileage improvement. The main drawback to their
claim is that there is no conventional standard for their measurement but the thing is that there is some
noticeable development of some kind from the use of their H2O systems. This paper for green
