The study encompasses public policy clauses in different areas of law such as family law,
insolvency and cartel damage claims. In this respect, the scope of the study corresponds to
the present stage of European private international and procedural law where provisions on
public policy are relatively widespread in the pertinent EU instruments. In particular, the
