Organizational Learning Capability
Nahapiet and Ghoshal (1998) stated that organizational knowledge assets come
mainly from the knowing capability of an organization. Organizations learn from
experience (Cyert & March, 1963), and an organization's internal and external
social capital enrich its experience. In the next section we have discussed how
internal social capital helps organizations to generate and diffuse knowledge
within the organization and how external social capital helps organizations
exchange knowledge and collaborate with other parties.
