Most of the key success factors indicated are related
to the composition of the trade-facilitation body.
Contributions by external donors (such as training
and capacity-building, appropriate work plans and
financial resources) appear to be important, but
not as important as the capacity of its members to
support the activities and successful achievements of
the trade-facilitation body. However, donors’ support
and technical assistance are determinant for least
developed countries.
Interestingly, a majority of obstacles encountered
appear also to be related to the role played by
the members of the trade-facilitation body. While
