Since the early 1970s, scholars in the areas of management information systems (MIS) and decision support
systems (DSSs) have recognized the important roles of computer-based information systems which play an
important role in supporting managers in their semi-structured or unstructured decision making activities [1].
There are three fundamental components of DSSs; database management system (DBMS) which serves as a
