Use Clear and Consistent Consequences To Limit Aggressive Behaviour
Get down to your child’s level – eye to eye - and, using a calm, low, but firm tone,... which indicates displeasure..., clearly tell the child, what they have done wrong.
Try Not to shout... as this suggests you have lost control.
At Kidi Kingdom, if a child stops behaving aggressively, we give them lots of praise.
However, if a child continues their inappropriate behaviour, after we have given them a warning, we impose a clear consequence, such as missing out on a fun activity.
