descent input dc voltage regulation of the air-conditioning
system are achieved by the proposed predictive control
strategy. The proposed switching strategy for the boost
converter and the bidirectional power converter are
based on the predictive control with ac line current and
output voltage of the PV arrays. The bidirectional power
converter is suitably modulation controlled to rectify the
ac source during the power shortage under the poor
power generation of PV arrays or over load conditions of
airconditioner. During the opposite state, the
bidirectional power converter is gated to function as a
regeneration inverter
