Mae Chan market village located in Moo 3 Tambon Mae Kham, Amphoe Mae Chan. The village slightly away from Mae Fah LuangUniversity. Before we arrived in this village, we have to travel through the main road Mea Chan. The main road through a relatively convenient travel. When we reached the entrance to the village on both sides are filled with trees and many local homes. The atmosphere is great. There are a few shops in Muang Mae Chan as well as beside the roads leading out from the town which sell local souvenirs and mementos. Homemade wines made from strawberries or pineapples, desiccated fruit, medicinal herb concoctions, Oolong tea. Although the weather is hot, but the people who see us they are smiling. Local people are kind and friendly. People in the area are almost all tribal such as Lahu, Akha, Thaiyai and Lua which in this section should be interesting things that can be developed into a prominent and know of tourists. We had the opportunity to interview the headman of the village and cooperated very well. There is good weather, good to relax, but we found several problems, such as water pollution. We can control water pollution by the possible solutions are to increase people’s awareness by publicizing the campaign and made a sign post. Furthermore, the government should set up regulations or impose a fine on people who dump their garbage into the river. It may be repaired and promote the place by create interesting activities to attract tourists.
