The following certified reference materials (CRMs) were used
for method validation regarding accuracy: SRM 1546 (meat
homogenate), SRM 1577c (bovine liver) and SRM 8414 (bovine
muscle), all produced by the National Institute of Standards and
Technology (Gaithersburg, MD, USA). The precision of the method
was evaluated using a sample of sliced meat prepared in 10
replicates.
