Three case-study communities for this research were Pandintong Koi Rut Tak Wa community, Samakk
Ruam Jai community and Soi Sansuk community selected from the Bangkok Metropolitan pilot
communities. The selection factors are comprised of location, community size, physical characteristics,
communal economy, local communal organization and people participation in each community. This
research employs interviews with leaders of communities and sent questionnaires to households. There
were 365 samples of the study. Crosstab, Chi-square, T-test and ANOVAs were statistical methods
applied in this research. Comparison of the differences between dependent and independent variables
using factor analysis lead to a conclusion about the correlation between dependent and independent
variables.
