The kernel determines (/(h, s)) the distribution and its properties.
Choosing different kernel can generate different distributions.
If the kernel is not functionally dependent on the signal, the
distribution is bilinear in the signal. Having a simple method togenerate all distributions has the advantage of allowing one to
prove general results and study what aspects of a particular distribution
are unique or common to all. Equally important is the idea
that by placing constrains on the kernel one obtains a subset of the
distributions which have a particular property [12]. CTFS is the
short-time Fourier transform of the cross correlation between the
two signals. If at a given time, the short-time Fourier transform
of signals have the same spectral content, the CTFS will show peaks
