Moisture, protein, lipid, crude fiber and ash contents of all varieties were in the ranges of 5.96-8.19, 6.63-8.46, 1.44-3.47, 0.16-0.35 and 1.35-2.15 g/100 g (db), respectively. The iron and polyphenol contents in these rice samples were in the range of 0.91-1.66 mg/100 g and 58-329 mg GAE/100 g sample, respectively.
