'Edge of Government' Innovation Pavilion at the World Government Summit. Dubai
Engage was asked by the Mohammed bin Rashid Centre for Government Innovation to help create an experience to showcase some of the most innovative initiatives world governments are currently undertaking to further benefit society. The experience was exhibited during the World Government Summit (a closed event) which took place February 2016 in Dubai, UAE. It was attended by high level representatives of governments and international organisations, positioned as the largest platform for the next generation of government leaders. The experience was called the Edge of Government.
Through extensive collaboration with the Centre’s team, Engage created a space for the experience to live in and produced each exhibits’ showcase; an interpretive design project which was delivered through application and video-based content. The journey through the experience took visitors on a tour around the globe, offering interactive touch points delivered to educate in an interesting and comprehensive way.
This initiative was visited by hundreds of World Government Summit attendees and was the inspiration behind the Edge of Government Innovation Award which will now be an annual award, given to the most current, innovative global government initiatives.
