In case of fungi, Aureobasidium pullulans and Microsporum gypseum were most sensitive (MIC= 0.15 mg ml) and Candida albicans, Aspergillus flavus and A. fumigatis were least sensitive (MIC = 20 mg mr'). The lowest MLC value was for
Microsporum gypseum and Trichophyton mentagrophytes (2.5 mg ml). No obvious differences between the sensitivity of Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, yeasts and filamentous fungi were observed. There was no distinction between filamentous and unicellular fungi as regards to their sensitivity.
