Fig. 12 Effect of wet bulb temperature on moisture gain in the air and moisture loss in solution a. water flow rate at 200 kg.hr-1 b. water flow rate at 300 kg.hr-1 (Conditions: ma = 765 kg.hr-1, Vs = 0.01 l.s-1, Tw = 80○C, Tdb = 36○C).
The effect of air flow rate has only minimal effect on moisture removal rate even though both the moisture gain and loss have quite constant rate of moisture movement. The moisture gain is still higher than moisture loss at around 0.16 g.s-1 for water flow rate at 200 kg.hr-1 (see Fig. 13a), and 0.5 g.s-1 for water flow rate at 300 kg.hr-1 (see Fig. 13b).
