2.4. Soluble protein and proline determination
Soluble protein was quantified according to Bradford (1976).
Samples (leaves and roots) were homogenized in 0.1 M Naphosphate
buffer (pH 7; 1:5 w/v). After adding the reagent,
absorbance was recorded at 595 nm and the concentration
was calculated using a calibration curve made with bovine serum
albumin.
