The dietary concentration of lysine was decreased in the FLF diet compared with the DRY and FLG diets (Table 4). The concentration of sugars decreased after fermentation of the whole diet and the concentration of total NSP was slightly decreased in the FLG and FLF diets compared with the DRY diet. The total concentrations of the biogenic amines measured were approximately 71 mg/kg of DM in the DRY diet, approximately 334 mg/kg of DM in the FLG diet, and 1,186 mg/kg of DM in the FLF diet, with cadaverine being the amine measured at the greatest concentration in all diets.
