This Thesis is a studied and designed about Small clay mixer machine.
The Purpose of this project is for people use to mix clay for small pottery which is popular in today’s market.
This thesis have objective mixing clay for make small earthenware and which the demand for market. By the process of mixing clay is the problem with producers very much the production volume and number of employees. We,therefore need to be desingn Small clay mixer machine for to increase productivity and shorten the production time.
It is know that the duration and quality is extremely producer’s problem of mixing clay.
We have designed and built a small clay mixer machine to increase productivity and reduce production time.
Small clay mixer machine use A.C. moter size 2 Hp. 220 V. 1,450 rpm. transmission to belt and gearbox to shaft attached to the screw conveyors of Small clay mixer machine.
After that testing
Small clay mixer machine by comparing the time and result of mixing clay
between machine and labor in factory.
Results of comparing time testing showed that Large clay mixer machine use the least time is 1,714.30 seconds, next is Small clay mixer machine use 1,725.72 seconds and take the longest is clay mixed by labor 3,071.4 seconds.
In results of comparing piece of work showed that piece of mixing clay by labor is the most problems. It can found a problem 5 pieces. Piece of work by Large clay mixer machine found 3 pieces and Small clay mixer machine found the least problem just 1 piece and then when Small clay mixer machine mix the clay is equal to 176.87 kg . it be the breakeven point.
