3.11. In situ component and normal breast tissue
DNA extracted from the microdissected normal breast
tissue was genotyped in 23 cases. In only one case was
there a lack of correspondence between the breast tissue
and the genomic DNA (highlighted in pink), where the
assignment of genotype was uncertain (between Ala/Pro
and Ala). DNA from DCIS samples were genotyped in
nine cases, all of which matched the genotype of the
invasive component.
