Appropri- ate methodology should be chosen for serving specific purposes of research. These aspects of ontology, epistem- ology, and methodology had shed some light on our un- derstanding of the nature of models and modeling. In this section, we will discuss how these three pillars establish the theoretical framework of our research on models and modeling.
