l i b r a r i a n s . I f th e l i b r a r y w ants to be a l i v i n g organ f u l l y re s p o n s iv e
to i t s p a tro n s , s tu d y o f th e a t t i t u d e s o f th o s e in v o lv e d in l i b r a r y
a c t i v i t i e s i s an im p o rta n t a i d to more e f f e c t i v e s e r v ic e and program
im provem ent. I n t h i s way, th e l i b r a r y becomes a p a r tn e r i n th e educati
o n p r o c e s s .
