emitted uniformly from the floor
This analysis was carried out only for standing and sleeping
postures.
(i) Standing. Fig. 14(1) shows the concentration distri-bution of indoor air contaminants when the concentration at
the exhaust opening is 1.0 (concentration in a state of complete
mixing). When standing, the fresh air from the supply
opening first reaches the feet of the occupant. This air then
ascends with the rising stream caused by metabolic heating.
