They [the nurses] kept on telling me that I had to eat faster. I just did not understand it. I thought, I can’t eat any faster and no one hadever told me that I eat too slowly. At first, I thought that I brought the fork to my mouth too slowly, until a nurse told me I had to chew more quickly. Then I got it. With hindsight I realised that I ate very little for a very long time, so I wasn’t really used to it any more. I started to pay attention from then on and saw that I had to chew more quickly.
