Task: Sand wood.
Prerequisites: ADT 3, C. 6, SEN 12, VOC 5
Concepts The ability to perform this task can often be quickly taught. Equally im¬portant to the actual task of sanding is the ability to receive and respond to instruc¬tions from a supersisor (see prerequisite VOC 5), regarding when to stop or feedback about work quality Because a specific pressure is needed to perform this task, some physical guidance will probably also be required. This task should be performed in conjunction with related woodworking activities to ensure that it is methingfith Behavioral Objective: When requested to sand a wooden object in a manner taught by the instructor, the student will perform that tssk to .90% accuracy level for 20 trials. Materials: Sample wood pieces, a sanding block, and various grades of samlpaper. Task Analysis:
1. Demonstrate the process involved in a specific sanding project to the student. Verbally describe the activities being performed.
2. Assist the student in tearing a piece of sandpaper to the size needed to fit on a

3. Physically guide the student in 2 hand-over-hand manner to sand a sample
