I totally agree with the point you mentioned that “the background of site admin which some of us including me are not specialized in accountant so human error can occur.”
However, your suggestion of point# 3 is not a realistic scenario to the GWS’ AP accountant. Given that the number of log are as per below:-
• In May: 572 logs from log# 439448-44020
• In April: 634 logs from log# 438813-439447
• In March: 590 logs from log#438222-438317
I would like to seek all sites opinion whether 1 A/P accountant can verify all code around 600 logs within 1 months (given that we also have other reports need to manually key in and issue sites urgent manual check, answering phone call from each vendor at least 88 vendors on the call on 10th of the month etc..)?
The reason, I believe, to have site admin is to put the right code into the documents as well. Thus, the site manager will need to have the right person to the job. If this idea is wrong, then we will need to escalate to the higher level that site admin does not qualify to put any coding as per the GWS’s design the organization.
Currently, we try to correct it once we got the original log from sites, which we also have communication to the site to correct it right away. However, with the volume of the logs I show to everyone, it is very workload for 1 or 2 accountant to do.
