Loki looked up when he heard a muffled chuckle. He was busy cleaning his helmet (someone touched it with dirty fingers, unbelievable!), and was so focused in his actions, that he had completely forgotten about his surroundings. Then he saw you, sitting across from him on the large sofa, watching him. Your shoulders were shaking from laughing, but your hands covered your mouth so almost no sound came out. Loki frowned, but decided to pay it no attention, so he continued cleaning his helmet.
Today was one of those days where almost everything seemed funny to you. Things no one noticed, things everyone thought was boring – you just cracked up about everything. And watching Loki cleaning his helmet was the best thing ever. Why? Just the look on his face was brilliant.
How his eyes were glaring daggers at the fingerprints on his precious helmet, crunching up his nose whenever he noticed his own fingers leaving marks on the golden surface, and how Loki was so determined to clean every inch of it. And then the confused look he gave you when he heard you chuckling - Priceless!
Loki's green eyes met yours again, only to see you were actually biting your hand in order not to laugh out loud. Tears were starting to form in your (e/c) eyes, your cheeks growing red, and every few seconds a snort erupted from your throat, or nose, he couldn't tell. What was so funny?
You fell to your side, leaning on one of the big pillows and burying your warm face into it, finally letting go of your hand and taking a deep breath. Loki shook his head, still confused. “Humans are strange”, he muttered into his non-existing beard, making you crack up even more. Loki sighed, looking at his helmet one last time, before gently placing it onto the table and putting his handkerchief into his pocket, before standing up, leaving you laughing on the sofa.
