Sakon Nakhon Wax Castle Festival is a six-day event held annually to signify the end of Buddhist Lent. Religious ceremonies and fun cultural activities take place in the Muang direct of Sakon Nakhon province. Traditionally, this is the time where people of Sakon Nakon pay respects to local temples and their ancestors. It is now a time to see astounding artists creates wax sculptures as well as watch cultural performances and famous boat races.
