Pinkie Pie was hopping down the street, on her way to Sugarcube Corner.
" I wonder what it is Rarity wanted to show me?" Pinkie thought to herself. Earlier, Rarity asked Pinkie Pie to meet her at Sugarcube Corner in 20 minutes. She soon arrived at Sugarcube Corner. Pinkie walked inside to meet a bunch of confetti.
" SURPRISE!!!" Some ponies yelled. After the confetti floated down she saw Rarity, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy all standing there. Pinkie gasped with excitement
" Awesome! But where's the party?" She said, looking around the empty room.
" Follow us if you want to see it." Rainbow Dash said. They all left.
Near the outskirts of the Everfree Forest, there was a large picnic blanket set up with all kinds of stuff. There was cake and ice cream laid out, balloons were staked to the ground, a radio to dance to, and Pin-the- tail-on-the-pony up on a tree.
" This is gonna be awesome!" They all had a good time. Fluttershy left and came back with a beach ball. They all threw it around. Applejack threw it to Pinkie Pie, but it flew over her head and far into the Everfree Forest.
" Don't worry gals, I'll get it." Pinkie said. She hopped off into the forest. She hopped for a while but stopped, seeing all the scary things in the forest.
" There it is!" She said, the ball resting at the foot of a tree. She ran over to it. Pinkie tried to pick it up but something was weighing it down.
" Huh?" She tried again. But instead of it staying on the ground, it floated in the air.
" What's going on?" She asked no one. Kaa's head came behind Pinkie. He turned the ball so she's face him.
" Hello." Kaa said. Pinkie just blinked at him.
" I'm Kaa, who are you." Pinke just blinked again. But the question slowly set in.
" M-my name's p-p-Pinkie Pie." She said, slightly shaking.
" Hello Pinkie, I wass jusst wondering if you wanted to play sssome ball. I haven't played in a long time." Pinkie smiled. Kaa set her back on the ground.
" Sure, I'll play." Kaa threw the ball over to Pinkie, and Pinkie threw it back.
They kept throwing the ball back and forth when Kaa hit it a little too hard and it again flew over Pinkie's head.
" Oopss. Sssorry." Kaa apologized.
" It's ok, I'll get it." She turned around to grab the ball when she felt something on her back legs. She turned and saw Kaa's tail quickly wrapping around her legs, on it's way to her middle.
" k-k-k-k-Kaa, wh-what are you doin?" She asked. Pinkie looked up and saw Kaa's eyes, full of colorful spirals. Her eyes started copying Kaa's, and soon she started smiling.
" You've had a busy day Pinkie, it'sss time for you to go to ssssleep." Kaa soothed. Pinkie's eyes started getting heavy. She tried to stay awake, wanting to further glimpse the colors, but eventually fell asleep. The others came toward them. He brought all of them up to the tree and set them on a branch. Only one more pony left to get.
