In all groups, the male has more fatalities than the
female. The highest male/female ratio relates to
motorcyclist (14), while the lowest is for motor vehicle
occupant (2.1). This ratio for pedestrian is small beside
that for motorcyclist (2.3 vs. 14). Pedestrian category
has the most fatalities (919) and motor vehicle
occupant group has the least (707). The category of
‘other’ road users has very few numbers compared to
other categories; thus, we concentrate on three
important groups: pedestrian, motorcyclist and motor
vehicle occupant.
