CAT president Col Sanpachai Huvanandana said the organisation now has a total of 2,000 racks of servers distributed across 500 square metres, with half of them operated by the newest data centre in Nonthaburi II, which was officially launched last year with an investment of 500 million baht.
The Nonthaburi II data centre is a significant step in the company's data centre development, paving the way for its ambition to become one of the leading data centre hubs in Asean.
Col Sanpachai said that CAT has core competency in leasing data centre services to state agencies and private sector businesses that are in need of data centres with high-level security.
CAT's data centre services comprise co-location, temporary offices, highspeed internet, disaster recovery and managed security.
