This pie chart shows our total energy consumption in Thailand by type 2010. Thailand’s energy consumption is ruled by the burning of fossil fuels. Oil is 39%, natural gas is 31% , and coal is 13% of energy consumption in Thailand. And while Thailand’s consumption of fossil fuels only goes up, their production and reserves is very limited, making it a major import for the country . Unfortunately only 1% of Thailand’s energy is from hydroelectricity meaning they have a long way to go in the renewable energy game
