In the present work,we have discovered a photo inducedlinear electroopticsinZnOnanorodswhich
werefabricatedbysimplyvaryingthecontentofthegrowthsolution.Itwasestablishedthatbyvarying
the growthsolutionconcentrationonecanvarythesurfacedensityoftheZnOnanorodarraysgrowthon
the surface.ThelowestZnOcontentproducesthelowestsurfacedensityinthenanorods.The
photoinducedlinearelectroopticswasstudiedusingtheHe–Ne laseratwavelength1150nmandwas
stimulated by7nsnitrogenlaserat371nm.ThenonlineardependenceoftheAgnanoparticle(NP)
concentration wasfoundanditwassignificantly higherthanthatforthepureZnONP.Principalroleof
the AgNPontheobservedeffectswasdiscussed
