Canine stress
To adapt to a new environment or to cope with a temporary challenge is potentially stressful for most dogs.
In some dogs, mild fears and worries can develop into phobias or stress-related conditions.
Particular attention should be paid to puppies during the socialisation phase (from 3-16 weeks): bad or lack of experiences during this period may make them more likely to develop stress-related behavioural
problems in later life (noise phobias, separation-related disorders, etc...).
