When the activity studies were monitored in the presence of 1 105 M zinc chloride it was reduced by 75% at 37 8C and nearly 97% at 45 8C.
The reduction in the activity was 88% at 37 8C and 98% at 45 8C, respectively in the presence of 1 104 M zinc chloride.
From these results it is clear that at higher concentrations of zinc chloride (above 1 103 M) ATPase enzyme activity is inactivated completely.
