The radical scavenging activity of methanol extract of
soybean sprouts was determined using the method of with some modifications. Briefly, 5 ml of 0.1 mmol/L
DPPH-methanol solution was added with 10 ml of methanol
extract. After the solution was incubated for 30 min at 25 1C in
darkness, the decrease in the absorbance at 517 nm was measured.
The control contained methanol instead of the methanol
extract, while the blank contained methanol instead of DPPH
solution.
