Police put together a raid with helicopters, speedboats and paramilitary forces from four cities to overrun a small village of Boshe, where they suspected more than a fifth of households were involved in, or linked to, production and trafficking of drugs.Astatement released yesterday said police and paramilitary forces from four cities arrested 182 suspects in the raid last Sunday. The YangchengEvening News, a local newspaper, said they also seized three tonnes ofmeth- amphetamines. Boshe villagers have resisted authorities foryears, block- ading the village entrance with motor- cycles, brandishing replica AK-47s and hurling rocks and homemade grenades at officers.
