scale (11 questions) and a functional status scale (8 questions).
All of the answers were scored from 1 to 5 according
to the patient’s clinical condition, such that 1 indicated
no symptoms, and 5 indicated the most severe symptoms.
The questionnaire’s reproducibility, internal consistency
and responsiveness were validated in the previous paper
[14]. The functional status scale of the Boston CTS questionnaire
was chosen as the primary outcome because it is
closely correlated with the patient’s ability to perform daily
activities. The goal of rehabilitation is to improve the functional
status of patients, rather than only symptom relief
