Information analysis was found to be negatively correlated with role conflict.
This result strengthens the expectation that information analysis was significantly
related with reduced role conflict. This indicates that the firms in our survey
possess adequacy of data and information analysis to support quality-based
decision-making, which in turn, lessens the role conflict of employees. This finding
also indicates that the scope, validity, management and timeliness of data and
information were being efficiently used in the surveyed firms. It is assumed that the
individuals feel that this dimension of TQM will provide information needed to
facilitate tasks and reduce role conflict
