The particle sizes of the milled RH had no significant influences on the degradation temperature of the composites, but it was found that larger RH particles lowered the char yield to around 2 % when compared with smaller particles. The TGA thermograms of the MA-g-PE treated HDPE/RH composites with 30 wt% of the 500 μm RH particles was shown in Fig. 6(b). The treated composites were found to also decompose
at two steps.
